A Desire of My Heart

"May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed." Psalm 20:4

Lake Maggiore, Italy, has been a desire of my heart since the night I graduated from high school and saw the movie Rome Adventure. I thought about it, planned for it, dreamed about what it would really look like.

This picture was taken in 2010 from the balcony of our hotel in Stresa. Dreams sometimes take awhile to come true.

Reality? Better than I ever imagined!
