My chemo treatments put me in the hospital over the weekend. My room faced the east and I had a huge picture window. By Sunday night, my strength was returning. In the quiet of the twilight, I sat in my bed and hoped to be able to go home on Monday.
I happened to glance over my shoulder and was stunned by the sight of that super moon rising as if by magic out of the Indian River. I spent the next couple of hours watching its rise from the edge of the trees
into the night sky.
How many people in the course of time have watched that same moon? What a symbol it is of the constancy of God! He is the same
yesterday, today and tomorrow.
As small as I am, He knew right where I was in that hospital room.
When I gaze into the night sky and see the work of your fingers...the moon and stars suspended in space...O what is man that you are mindful of him? O Lord, my God, the majesty and glory of your name
transcends the earth and fills the heavens! Psalm 8
