There’s
a saying that goes like this: “God is not always early, but He’s never late.”
I’ve experienced that time and again as I prepare my weekly messages for the
Ladies Devotional Lunch.
My challenge
each week is to make the thoughts relevant for the lives we’re all faced with
out there in the wide, wide world. Once
I have the “hook” —a personal experience or something from current events—the
message usually flows. Finding that hook
means searching my memory or the newspapers or the TV news shows. I search and I pray and just when my mind
seems the driest of the dry, there it will be.
It’s like the Holy Spirit finally just says, “Here!”
